July 2016 was a historic month that will be remembered by the children and the local community. 12 students, 2 teachers from Royal Russell school in London and 2 members of staff from Inspire International UK visited Two Bridges Primary school for a duration of two weeks and lots of exciting things happened;

A new building was constructed which included two classrooms, an office, staff room and a store and a well was constructed awaiting a pump for completion.

Students decorated the existing block .

Reading lessons were held by the students ,and art and crafts was also included on our packed timetable.

Joanna (from the UK) donated resources to the nursery children.

Dance lessons were the highlights of every day; these involved the students children and staff

We had a fantastic celebration as we bid farewell to our visitors with the guest of honour Prof Lawrence Mukiibi giving scolarships to all children from Two Bridges who do well in their Primary Leaving Exams.

Parents and children organised themselves and planted grass in the school ground.

Children, students and member of staff visited the London College of St Lawrence schools.

It was a memorable day when both the students and children held a sports day at the Forest Park Resort.

Two more vulnerable children have been taken in as boarders and have settled in well.

A good-hearted parent donated 1000 bricks to Two Bridges Community school and 8 children joined our school family despite this being the last term of the year.

A team of 6 strong members were elected to be the Board of Govorners of the School and 3 Parents elected to form a Parents committee.

The children were sad to say farewell to the local Parish Priest Father Dumba who has been a great friend of Two Bridges Community school

The children for the first time went to the theatre in Kampala to watch a play on invitation by one of the Board of Governors, Mr Andrew Benon Kibuuka.
